Background information on 5-String Productions

Tim Brown founded the 5-String Productions studio in the mid-1990s. 5-String Productions is a full digital, multi-track studio involved in all aspects of recording projects. 5-String Productions has been involved in recording both live concert performances and in-studio projects. A common thread across our projects is the high-quality reproduction of live acoustic performances for use in radio broadcasts and on commercial recordings.

5-String Productions has recorded numerous concerts including:

5-String Productions has done pre-production and post-production work for all of the recordings that have been released of the 5-String Productions Label as well as projects for County Records, Yodel-Ay-Hee, Field Recorders' Collective and Spiritoso Classics.
